Sick of Christmas music? Why not give some of these new tracks by Macclesfield musicians a spin?

Here's a trio of singles released by Macclesfield musicians in the last month.

Elliot Clayton

Buoyed from the success of his last single which got over 17,000 streams, ex-All Hallows pupil Elliot Clayton has released his second single of the year.

The young man from Macclesfield released his latest song Rest Of My Life at the start of this month.

While his previous singles were more ballady, this is the closest he has ever released to a 'banger', with an up-temp and upbeat presentation.

Sea Fever

Macclesfield born-and-raised Phil Cunningham is known for being part of the internationally-known band New Order.

But did you know he also has another project? He has released one album with other local musicians from across the north west, under the moniker Sea Fever.

The fivepiece have just released their first single not recorded in the sessions for their debut album.

Dilemma marks a slight tonal shift for the electronic and alternative act, but Phil's signature guitar-playing still shines.

Great for fans of synthpop, 80s new wave and BBC Radio 6 Music. Listen to the track HERE.

The band have just been added to play Party in the Pews Festival line-up in Macclesfield next year.

HOOD

Bollington DJ HOOD (real name Alfie Dixon-Hood) has released his second single of the year.

Lovin' Me follows up Rastafari which had a few thousand streams in the summer. However, Lovin' Me is actually a remix of somebody else's track.

His collaborator Dutta has over 69,000 monthly listeners, so this is quite a coup for the Bollingtonian to remix one of Dutta's tracks.
