A Greenside business is doing their bit for a Macclesfield charity.

Macclesfield company Wear4Work Limited announced today that it has joined the East Cheshire Hospice 500 Club.

Speaking about the announcement Richard Woollam Managing Director of Wear4Work Limited said: "As a local organisation, based in Macclesfield we are delighted to support East Cheshire Hospice in both sponsorship and in the provision of our products and services for other activities of the Hospice".

Other Macclesfield businesses part of the 500 Club include Andrew Smith Funeral Services and Energicity.

At the presentation of the certificate and engraved trophy, Luke Oldham ECH Corporate Fundraiser said: "Since 1988, East Cheshire Hospice has been caring for people living with life-limiting illnesses, putting patients, their carers and families at the centre of everything they do, with expert medical treatment being only the start of the holistic care provided."

"However, only 17% of our funding is from the government and the remainder is donated by the communities we serve: Buxton, Congleton, High Legh, High Peak, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Poynton, Wilmslow and everywhere in between."

Other Macclesfield businesses part of the 500 Club include Silk Fitness Therapy, Road Sweeter Services Macclesfield Limited and Leek Building Society.
