Here's four of the best events happening in Macclesfield this weekend.

Kids Art Club

Room for comics is located on King Edward Street, just around the corner from Plums Kitchen on Market Place.

One for the kids while you can get some Christmas shopping done.

2-3pm at Room for comics this Saturday.

Join cartoonist Marc Jackson for an hour of furious felt-pen FUN!! All skill levels are welcome, let's get back to basics, embrace cartoon art and the joy of just drawing with no rules or restrictions! £8.50 per-child. Ages 6+.

Higher Sutton Christmas Market

Hanging Gate Inn, Wincle Lane, Higher Sutton, SK11 0NG

Boasting a super rural feel and gorgeous views, The Hanging Gate will also welcome a Christmas market this Saturday.

Christmas comes to the Hanging Gate with a variety of stalls, music, mulled wine and more!

12noon onwards. Come for the views and Christmas presents, stay for great food and drink! 

The pub is currently undergoing major refurbishment.

Clothes Fair

The Snowgoose is located on Sunderland Street, Macclesfield.

As a new year approaches, why not shake up for wardrobe?

A Sunderland Street venue will be transformed into a clothes shop for one day only.

This Sunday will see The Snowgoose hold a vintage and pre-loved clothes sale upstairs.

The event will also serve as a Christmas get together, live music, mulled wine and foody treats downstairs. Opens 12pm.

Christmas Cards and Window Decorations Workshop

The Silk Museum is located on old Park Lane.

Old Park Lane's The Silk Museum will host a family-friendly festive workshop this Saturday.

Everyone loves receiving a home made card! Join the volunteers who will teach you how to make Christmas cards and beautiful window decorations.

This workshop is suitable for children ages four and above. £6 per child. 

There's one workshop in the morning and one in the afternoon. Call 01625 612045 for more info.
