What's on in Macclesfield is brought to you by our sponsors All Things Nice Macclesfield, Painters Supply Limited, and Wincle Brewing Co.
Every midweek, we preview some of the best events happening in Macclesfield for the forthcoming weekend.
Just because things are getting autumnal, doesn't mean you should stop going out!
Here's the five best things you can do in Macclesfield this weekend.
Live Music
May's Party in the Pews Festival hasn't even happened yet, but the local organisers have already announced more live music events in our town for later this year, under the same brand.
From Saturday, Party in the Pews will be setting up camp in Cinemac for a trio of live music nights, taking place until the end of the year.
The Cinemac Sessions Brought to you by Party in the Pews & Puffer Fish Press, will feature a mixture of local talent and big names from the north west.
The first event features James Walsh, of Cheshire post-Britpop band Starsailor who have achieved ten UK Top 40 singles.
James Walsh fronted Warrington band Starsailor. He released his latest solo album Coming Good earlier this year. Including his work with Starsailor, he has sold over three million albums globally.
He'll be performing all the classic hits from Starsailor's back catalogue and new solo material. It will be his first ever performance in Macclesfield.
This first concert takes place on Saturday September 23 from 7pm-10pm.
Cinemac Live is inside Cinemac, on Roe Street.
James Walsh will be joined supported by Macclesfield's Joel Gardner.
Joel is a local grassroots music champion, who you may know from the live music nights at Macclesfield's The Button Warehouse.
You can read more about Joel and his music by clicking here.
Tickets are £15 in advance (on this link) or £18 on the door.
