The winners of the Macclesfield Nub News pumpkin carving competition have received their prize.
Nub News and the Co-op teamed up to give away a free hamper of goodies to the winner of the Halloween pumpkin carving competition. The Eaton Family from South Macclesfield are the lucky winners.
Ruth Eaton and her daughters Eleanor and Olivia submitted a photo of three pumpkins.
This included intricately carved mice and cat themed pumpkins.
As a reward for their efforts, they received a Co-op hamper of seasonal goodies in the post.
As well as Halloween sweets, Co-op food branded products such as rosemary crackers, gluten-free brownies, tea and biscuits, plus a Halloween arts and crafts sheet, were included for all the family to enjoy.
"Eleanor and Olivia are really happy that their pumpkins were picked and were very excited to receive their prize," said proud mum Ruth.
"The parcel arrived remarkably quickly.
"They have demolished most of the treats now! Thank you for selecting us.
"We spent a whole morning in the half-term just choosing designs, and about two hours actually carving, mostly scooping seeds out!"
