Macclesfield: Ex-Betfred set to become bistro with new development

There will be another place to eat on Chestergate.
That is according to a new premises application licence on the Cheshire East Council website.
BeefnBerry Bistro have applied for a premises licence to move in to 17a Chestergate, where BETFRED used to be before moving across town in November 2022.
The new restaurant want an alcohol licence to serve between Monday to Sunday from 10:00 to 23:00.
The company appears to be a new one, incorporated in March this year from an address in Liverpool.
Members of the public can raise their view on the BeefnBerry Bistro application via details on this link.
They must get their representations in by 14 July 2023.
The unit is in-between Violet Salons and B&V Trading.
The new unit will be part of a competitive daytime dining market.
It is located just two doors down from Gastown and opposite All Things Nice.
The application was made on June 16 2023.
A potential opening date for the new bistro has not yet been revealed.
