Family business enters 'new era' as Mayor of Macclesfield cuts ribbon to officially open new showroom

A family-run business has entered 'a new era'.
Vufold swung open the doors to their new showroom on Saturday, March 15.
Located on Queen's Avenue, the showroom is designed to be a 'hub' for both tradespeople and the general public.
Martin Burgess, customer service manager, said: "What a fantastic opening event!
"A huge thank you to our customers, new trade partners, homeowners and staff for making the official launch of the Vufold showroom such a success!"

Martin added: "The launch of our showroom in Macclesfield this weekend represents a new era in buying high quality doors and windows, as this exciting space is a hub for homeowners, property developers, architects and of course, tradespeople, to make home improvement projects come alive.
"Special shout-outs to the Mayor of Macclesfield Sandy Livingston for attending and recognising this important investment for the region and Really Awesome Coffee and Lou's Balloons for the fabulous refreshments and decorations!
"We were especially proud to present Cardiac Risk in the Young with a cheque donation of £670 to help them in their important work."

Vufold as a brand started out in 2006, with the e-commerce website launched four years later.
Today, three generations of the Collins family work at Vufold and many of the company's current staff have been working there for over a decade.
Managing director Rick Collins said: "Our aim has always been to supply products we'd want in our own homes, we then add great customer service to look after you before, during and after your purchase."
