Macc XYZ

Following a summer break, Macc XYZ returns to Bollington Brewery Tap.

This month's meetup starts with a chat with Jonathan Lloyd, founder of CGHero, a global marketplace connecting businesses with specialist 3D, CGI, and VFX talent.

There will then be a panel examining what agentic coding actually means for founders and the future of the craft.

Martha Rose x Debbie Goldsmith

This weekend is your final chance to view the Debbie Goldsmith exhibition at the Art in the Stables gallery at Martha Rose Interiors.

To celebrate, the shop on Brook Street will be hosting a cheese and wine evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Thursday, September 3.

Macclesfield Open

The first-ever Macclesfield Open gets underway on Friday.

This new event offers the public a chance to see what goes beyond behind the scenes at some of the town's creative hotspots.

Among those taking part are Chestergate Pottery, Bunker Vintage, and the New Macclesfield School of Art at the Silk Museum.

Saturday (05/09)

Kerrave

Paul Beardmore, owner of Happy Valley Honey, and his son Luke are preparing to stage their first public music festival, Kerrave.

Taking place at Bollington Civic Hall on Saturday, September 5, Kerrave will help to raise money for Rob Hasler.

The father-of-two was diagnosed with MND in October 2024 and had to step away from teaching at Dean Valley Primary School the following year.
