Before all the chaos of half term, why not take a chance to relax at a nap club.
It is the last one before host Sam Fillingham heads off to India to travel and takes place from 7.30pm at Substation.
Attendees can expect a cosy, candlelit space to unwind with guided Nidra practice.

The Silk Museum is hosting an animation workshop on Saturday.
Attendees will get to bring pictures from the pattern books to life.
The workshop is recommended for children aged 10 and over, with adult supervision and a smart device required.

It's the third weekend of Macclesfield Book Festival at Christ Church.
This weekend focuses on all things history,
Among other things, guests will be able to enjoy talks from volunteer archivist Sandra Hargreaves and historian Dorothy Bentley.

Saturday (15/02) - Macclesfield Symphony Orchestra

Macclesfield Symphony Orchestra will be playing Franz Schubert's Symphony No. 9, The Great C Major together with Samuel Barber's Violin Concerto Op. 14.
The violin solo will be performed by the orchestra's talented leader, Henry Rankin, and conducted by Anthony Houghton.
The concert takes place at Macclesfield United Reformed Church on at 7.30pm on Saturday, February 14.

Saturday (15/02) - MaccPride Karaoke Challenge

MaccPride is hosting their Karaoke Challenge 2025 this weekend.
It takes place at Pack Horse Bowling Club.
At least two winners will be chosen, who will then be invited to compete at a later event in the 'All Star Grand Final'.

You can join artist Ruth Lear at the Silk Museum on Tuesday, February 18.
She will be teaching you how to paint your own silk handkerchief using inspiration from the museum's collection of pattern books.
No prior experience is needed and all materials will be provided.

Silkscreen Film Society's next screening at Cinemac will be the 2023 drama, Perfect Days.
Directed by German filmmaker Wim Wenders, the movie was nominated for Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards.

Macclesfield Civic Society are hosting Cheshire Wildlife Trust, who will explain their work and future plans for community involvement.
The trust has been working to enhance Cheshire wild life for over 60 years.
Non-members are asked to contribute £3 to the cost of room hire.
