Charity Rock Gig
A unique music act will raise funds for Macclesfield's East Cheshire Hospice this weekend.
Father-son duo The Cinema Show will perform their enchanting music, which blends archival audio and visual samples with electronic rock, crafted with guitars and synthesisers.
The band were even mentioned by Steve Wright on BBC Radio 2 last week.

Macclesfield vs Morecambe
Macclesfield FC's second pre-season home game - and third overall - will take place this weekend.
They welcome their toughest opposition yet in League One's Morecambe FC.
The Shrimps will take on The Silkmen at 3pm at the Leasing.com Stadium on Saturday.

Oliver!
If it is live, local theatre you're after then look no further. A production in the works since early in the pandemic is set to premiere!
The Macclesfield Academy have a performance this Friday, and it is Oliver!
As well as students from the Park Lane place of education, they will be joined by dancers from Ivy Bank Primary.

Gawsworth Concert
Following last month's kicking-off of their summer theatre calendar, the outdoor events are coming thick and fast at Gawsworth Hall.
On Sunday, The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain will return to the country house just outside of Macclesfield.
Excpect feel good, summery fun from the uke-loving collective from 6pm.
Anyone over the age of six can attend. No dogs. Tickets £29.50. More info here.
MaccPride
And the most action-packed for last, is Macclesfield's annual LGBTQIA+ celebration.
Aside the main daytime parade, they'll be a slew of special events in the evening across town. A full list of which can be found here.
High-flying Macclesfield rock bands Between Thorns will also perform.
There's also a raffle you can still enter, with prizes to be won.
