Friday Night Theatre

Miss Nobodies.

Have you ever watched a performance in Macclesfield Library?

The Jordangate public building occasionally becomes Macclesfield's most central theatre.

And this Friday there's a play called Miss Nobodies.

Anyone for Tennis?

A favourite sport of our Editor, tennis has been a popular sport in Macclesfield since 1905.

Macclesfield Tennis Club has an open day this weekend.

The Park Lane tennis club will welcome the community to try out their facilities in - hopefully good - weather.

There's even a brand new sport you can try out.

Macclesfield Beer Festival

Two days, one charity. Hundreds of beers. The Macc Beer Festival takes place at Macclesfield RUFC on Friday and Saturday.

The Rossendale Trust is the charity for this year.

Macclesfield Nub News will be volunteering at this year's Macclesfield Beer Festival, and we are even giving away tickets for it on our Facebook.

Capesthorne Capers

Capesthorne Hall is located on Congleton Rd, Siddington, Macclesfield SK11 9JY.

Siddington's Capesthorne Hall are delighted to welcome back the Plant Hunters Fair.

Entry to the Plant Fair and Gardens is at the special half price rate of just £4.00! (Children 5-16 years old: £1.50)

All tickets to be purchased on the gate. Ticket price includes free entry into the formal gardens and woodland walks.
