A former Red Devils defender is coming to Macclesfield.

The local branch of the Manchester United Supports Club has announced plans to host An Evening with David May.

Held at the Broken Cross Club on November 27, the event will include a charity raffle in aid of the Rossendale Trust.

A spokesperson for the charity said: "A huge thank you to the Manchester United Supporters Club - Macclesfield Branch for supporting the Rossendale Trust and choosing to raise funds for the amazing work we do.

"We're really looking forward to being there on the night and having the opportunity to talk a little more about the Rossendale Trust, the people we support, and some of the incredible things that happen across the trust every day.

"It's always a privilege to be able to share what we do and, most importantly, the difference that the support of our local community helps us make.

"Thank you again for your generosity and for helping shine a light on the work of the Rossendale Trust. We're looking forward to seeing everyone on the night!"
