As well as covering the independent businesses which opened their doors in Macclesfield in 2023, Macclesfield Nub News would also like to shine a light on the indie businesses that have moved across town over the past year.

It is easy to have missed the moving of one of your favourite businesses, but we are pleased to inform you that they are still open!

Formerly on Chestergate, The CBD Specialist joined Macclesfield's Castle Quarter, which is comprised of solely independent businesses.

The CBD Specialist moved from 47 Chestergate to the long-vacant unit on 19 Back Wallgate.

Their new premises, down the iconic cobbles of Back Wallgate, next to Rolph and Co, has a new second room and a cosier vibe.

The business sells CBD products in any form imaginable, vapes, and cold drinks.

The shop, which used to be on Mill Street, has now moved to 6 Queen Victoria Street.

The new location benefits from being closer to Macclesfield Railway Station and Macclesfield Bus Station. The latter being just across the road.

The sibling-owned business prefer the new premises for a more "boutique vibe".
