Macclesfield man wanted after missing court date

A man who lives in our town is wanted for failing to turn up to court.

James Pye (33) resides in Macclesfield at an unspecified address. The reason for his court appearance has not been disclosed.

Mr Pye and has connections to our town as well as links with Crewe, Knutsford and Northwich.

In a statement, Macclesfield Police said: "He is described as white, around six tall and of a slim build.

"He has blonde hair and hazel coloured eyes."

Macclesfield Police Station is located on Brunswick Street.

The Cheshire court Mr Pye was supposed to appear at has not been revealed.

Cheshire Police added: "Anyone who sees Pye or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Cheshire Constabulary via the website quoting IML 1238801."

"Alternatively information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or by contacting Cheshire Constabulary on 101."
