A Macclesfield man is running 1,300 miles across America.

Henry Moores is well on his way to completing his latest fundraising challenge for Be More Fab Children's Cancer Charity.

The 23-year-old is attempting to run 50 marathons in all 50 states of America.

Having started on Monday, April 20, Henry has completed 46 runs so far, raising over £20,000 in the process.

Henry said: "Supporting this charity means a lot to me, I consider them family after raising money for them last year.

"Be More Fab's mission is to support children, families and schools through the challenges of childhood cancer.

"They also work closely with schools to explain cancer in a child-friendly way, helping classmates and teachers understand what a diagnosis means.

"This isn't just about the physical challenge, but about raising awareness of the charity, and the amazing work they do."

Henry is no stranger to long-distance adventure, having raised over £57k last year for Be More Fab Children's Cancer Charity by walking over 1,200 miles from Manchester to Ibiza in flip-flops.

Henry, who won a JustGiving 2025 Award for his fundraising efforts last year, added: "I've wanted to do this challenge for many years, and I am so thankful I get to do it while fundraising for such an fantastic cause.

"I haven't really done any training for this challenge, but that is part of the fun for me. I know I will be able to push through and do this for Be More Fab.

"I'm not a usual runner, I don't do the gels or proper diet, I am fuelled on Lucozade, coffee, and pastries. I also plan to eat from food carts I come across while I'm out there."
