A popular independent café enjoyed a busy reopening at its new location.
Cornershop Coffee swung up the doors its new home on Chestergate on Tuesday, June 2.
Business owner and barista Pete Milne said the launch day had been 'really good' so far.
"We've had lots of regulars who have moved over and new customers coming as well," he added.
"We've been busy since we opened at 8am."

Chestergate's latest addition first opened on Brock Street in September 2023.
Last month, the business was presented with an 'amazing opportunity' to relocate closer to the town centre.
"We're sad to leave the place where it all started, but are equally excited to join the thriving independent community on Chestergate," read a post shared on Cornershop Coffee's social media accounts.
The independent café closed at its original location on Friday, May 22, to relocate to a unit vacated by The Monocle Café in January of this year.
Owners of The Monocle Café, friends Jim Kite and Ash Blades, announced last summer that they were planning to step away come the new year.
"It is with heavy hearts that we have made the difficult decision to close The Monocle Café in January 2026," read a post shared on the café's social media accounts on June 3, 2025.
"This is due to many factors, but mainly because we both want to do a lot more of life before we settle in one place.
"Don't worry, we haven't gone out of business, we both felt like we'd like to move on to other pursuits."
