  1. Multiple sting operations to fight out of town taxis in Macclesfield

A fortnight ago and halfway into the month, we reported on multiple attempts to crack down on taxis from out of town taking business from Macclesfield taxi companies.

It proved popular, and also got you talking on social media. Many were quick to comment on Facebook that taxis from Rawtenstall to Wolverhampton are often sighted in our town.

The Macclesfield artist was commissioned by the US TV giant, and became a viral sensation on TikTok.

  1. Macclesfield: Major £850,000 refurb for Adlington pub

Macclesfield Nub News was first to report on this refurb of a beloved Adlington pub.

The Miners Arms should be revamped and ready to go later in 2022, with renovation costs setting the pub back almost £1 million pounds.

  1. Macclesfield's first hip-hop sports bar will give back to grassroots football

In what will be the best place to watch the Superbowl in Macclesfield in February, a California-inspired hip-hop bar opened in the heart of Macc, and we were there to cover it.

Remedy Bar and Kitchen especially made the headlines for introducing a 'Beer of the Week', where a portion of that beer's sales will go to charity,.

With a huge spread of drinks, showing every sport you can think of, and a delicious vegetarian and vegan menu, the bar has something for everyone.
