Junior Buyer - Macclesfield - £27,000 - £31,000 + 4.5 day working week

The ideal candidate will be adaptable, eager to learn, and ready to develop their skills in a fast-paced procurement environment.

Junior Buyer Duties:
- Raise and process purchase orders in accordance with procurement procedures
- Monitor stock levels and assist with the reordering process
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier details
- Communicate with suppliers to track orders, resolve delivery issues, and ensure timely fulfilment
- Work collaboratively with internal departments (e.g. Commercial, Production, Finance) to meet procurement needs
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and standards
- Manage the database of site contracts, identifying contract owners and ensuring timely initiation of RFQs
Hours: 8am - 5pm (Mon-Thur) 8:30am - 1pm (Fri)
Required skills & experience:
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain
- Good communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
