Role responsibilities for an Architectural Technologist include:

  • Prepare and submit planning drawings and documentations
  • Prepare and develop planning scheme to detailed construction drawings
  • Produce technical specifications, tender, and working drawing packages
  • Attend site appraisals, surveys, client meetings and site inspections

Skills and experience for the role of Architectural Technologist:

  • Relevant degree within architectural design
  • Good post qualification experience as a Technician within a UK practice
  • Sector specialist experience or experience working on projects across a range of building sectors
  • Proficient with AutoCAD
  • Good knowledge of UK building regulations and codes
  • Good technical detailing and drawing skills
  • Job running experience
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Live within a commutable distance to the Macclesfield area

Experience- CMIOSH, Grad IOSH - At least 10 (5 ) years in construction industry- At least 10 (5 ) years as a Health and Safety professional- Be inquisitive in root cause outcomes- Lead on improvement initiatives - Effective and confident training provider- Managing & developing trainees Qualifications- NEBSOH Construction Certificate or Equivalent - NEBOSH Construction Diploma or Equivalent - NVQ Level 4 / EFQ L5 on Occupational Health and Safety or Equivalent- Awareness of lifting
