We are seeking a talented and proactive Asset Reliability Engineer to join our client at their pharmaceutical site. This role is crucial to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our critical manufacturing assets and facilities, contributing to the uninterrupted production of life-saving medications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Reliability Improvement:

    • Develop and implement asset reliability strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
    • Utilize reliability engineering principles such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to address potential failures and mitigate risks.
  2. Preventive and Predictive Maintenance:

    • Design and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs, utilizing data analytics and condition-based monitoring techniques.
    • Identify and implement improvements to maintenance schedules and protocols to enhance asset longevity and reduce breakdowns.
  3. Asset Management:

    • Analyze and assess asset performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
    • Support the development and execution of asset management plans to ensure the reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
  4. Project Management:

    • Lead and manage reliability-focused projects aimed at improving equipment performance, including equipment upgrades and retrofits.
    • Work cross-functionally with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to ensure timely project delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  5. Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Collect and analyze data from manufacturing equipment to monitor reliability and performance.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on asset reliability performance, identifying areas for improvement and tracking progress.
  6. Continuous Improvement:

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
    • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in reliability engineering and asset management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Asset Reliability Engineer, preferably within the pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles, maintenance strategies, and asset management practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software used for predictive maintenance and reliability tracking.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a reliability engineering role, preferably within pharmaceuticals or a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Certification in reliability engineering (e.g., CMRP, CRE) is desirable.
