Blue Arrow is proud to be working in partnership with a leading global manufacturing company. Due to expansion they're looking to recruit an experienced HR Generalist to join their team on a full-time permanent basis based at their UK Head Office in Macclesfield.

Hybrid working is an option for this role, but you would still need to be able to attend the office 3 days a week (days flexible). Therefore, candidates will ideally live locally or within a reasonable commute. About the HR Generalist Role Reporting to the Talent Director, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting and aligning HR initiatives with the strategic goals of the organization. This individual will work closely with stakeholders across the globe that represent various business function groups. Hours: Mon-Fri (37.5 hours per week) - flexibility on hours, usually between standard office hours but due to your direct line management and colleagues working globablly, some flexibility will be needed from time to time due to time zone differences. Salary: up to 50,000 (depending on experience) What duties will be included in the HR Generalist role?

Strategic HR Partnership:

  • Collaborate with corporate functions leaders to understand their business objectives and provide strategic HR guidance.
  • Utilize HR metrics and data analysis to identify trends, measure HR program effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Drive initiatives related to organizational effectiveness, change management, and employee engagement within corporate functions.

Talent & Performance Management:

  • Partner with leaders to identify and address talent needs, including talent acquisition, development, and succession planning.
  • Partner with the Centre of Excellence (COE) to attract, develop, and retain top talent within corporate functions.
  • Support the performance & talent management processes, working closely with the COE and managers to set performance expectations, provide coaching, and address performance issues.
  • Assist with the implementation of performance improvement plans, as needed. Provide guidance and coaching to leaders throughout the process.

Employee Relations & HR Compliance:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, offering guidance on employee relations matters.
  • Conduct investigations and provide resolutions for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations; regularly review and update policies to reflect best practices and legal requirements.

What will you bring to the HR Generalist role?

  • CIPD Level 5 (ideally but Level 3 will also be considered) or bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • At least 2-3 years previous experience in a HR Generalist role or similar
  • Progressive HR experience with a focus on business partnership.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices; global experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing complex employee relations issues.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into HR solutions.
  • Work well to deadlines.
  • Confidence to support in projects and bring new ideas and initiatives to the wider HR Group.
  • Ability to work well independently.
