Remote / Macclesfield - £20,000 - £25,000 + Benefits

1st Line IT Support Engineer with a passion for Windows / Microsoft technology environments as well as strong communication skills is sought by a high quality, managed services provider to provide excellent customer service to external clients, providing 1st line reactive support.

They have an excellent reputation for providing the highest levels of service, consulting with their clients regularly and helping them to ensure their company's systems and I.T Infrastructure are up to date and continue to match requirements.

The successful 1st Line IT Support Engineer should have the following knowledge:

  • Confident communication skills by phone, email and in person
  • Organisation skills that allow for efficient planning and prioritisation of tasks
  • Enjoy helping people and working in a team, learning quickly and sharing knowledge
  • A passion for Tech! Including Microsoft (Windows 8 & 10, Office 2013/2016, Office365), Apple, Networking, Backup
  • Want to gain certifications rapidly to advance your career
  • Have spent at least one year in a client-facing support role (possibly working for a fast-paced IT service provider servicing multiple clients)
