The Role: As our Building Services' team's Mechanical Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing small works Mechanical projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. What you'll do: Responsibility for the project and contract management of small works Mechanical projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget, and ensuring site safety and quality are maintained. Working closely with the Electrical division to successfully deliver joint projects. Leading the team of employed and subcontracted engineers including direct line management, performance and development of the team. Negotiating preferential rates with suppliers to ensure best prices are always achieved. Engineering/Installer background would be ideal. Proven track record in the Mechanical services industry. Must have sound knowledge of all mechanical systems including commercial and domestic plumbing and heating, natural and LPG Gas. Up to date relevant knowledge of Building legislation, Gas Regulations, Water Regulations, H&S at Work Act. Experience in specialist gas, oil and catering gases would be beneficial but not essential.
