Temporary- Permanent
24,000 - 25,000 per annum
Our client are looking for an experienced Support Worker to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis
Responsibilities of the Support Worker will include but not limited to:
- To Support people who have recently moved into temporary accommodation
- To provide support and practical help with things such as benefit applications, housing sustainment issues, health, education, employment and addiction
- To liaise with local residents and community including external organisations and charities to foster and develop positive relationships and community cohesion in the smooth delivery of the service
- To ensure accurate handovers and prompt and clear communication of support needs and actions agreed in the delivery of the service
- To develop and improve strategies for remaining in contact with people who are "difficult to engage"
- Ensure all written records are accurate, of a high quality and that the outcomes evidence meets the contract requirements
Essential criteria for the Support Worker:
- Full uk drivers licence
- Previous experience working with vulnerable services users
- Previous experience helping service users with tenancy sustainment issues and unemployment
