Marketing Executive

Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per year

About the Company:

We are exclusively partnering with a leading manufacturer based in Macclesfield. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a driven and creative Marketing Executive to join their team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the company's brand visibility, managing their social media channels, and overseeing their marketing initiatives and materials. You will collaborate closely with other departmental teams, including sales, quality, and product innovation, to develop marketing campaigns and tools that elevate the brand, support their customers, and engage their audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to support the business vision and protect and enhance the brand.
  • Manage social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
  • Oversee the website, ensuring it's up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with the brand messaging.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging marketing materials, including videos, infographics, and presentations.
  • Manage external partnerships (agencies, sponsors) for marketing initiatives, advertising, and events.
  • Promote and attend industry events and exhibitions (some travel required).
  • Provide regular reporting on marketing performance using data-driven insights to guide improvements.
  • Lead the content creation process, including developing a content calendar, coordinating with ambassadors and influencers, and curating visuals.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all marketing assets and align them with business goals.

Sales Support:

  • Understand the company's products and processes to effectively communicate value propositions to customers and other key stakeholders.
  • Support sales initiatives with strategic marketing input and ensure alignment between marketing and sales communication.

Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in a B2B, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels (social media, email marketing, content marketing, website management).
  • Experience with Google Analytics, SEO tools, and reporting software.
  • Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Suite and Canva for content creation.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing budgets, timelines, and multi-channel campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create compelling communication and marketing messages.
  • Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
