Site Maintenance Officer

SITE MAINTENANCE OFFICER

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday all year

NJC Grade 5, SCP 7-11 £25,584 to £27,269 (pay award pending)

The Fallibroome Academy requires a Site Maintenance Officer to join the friendly team.

The main purpose of the role is to keep the premises secure, clean, and in good repair, ensuring that the school is maintained to a high standard.

The successful candidate will be proactive, positive and energetic.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for opening up and closing the buildings (on a weekly rotating shift pattern).

During term time the building is opened at 06.30, locking up is more variable depending on planned school activities, such as parents' evenings and productions.

During school holidays, the building is usually opened slightly later and closed earlier. Some flexibility is required and living locally will be an advantage.

No previous school experience is required but the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate general maintenance skills, reliability, flexibility, good communication and have an interest in health and safety.

Training will be given to the successful candidate.
