Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Materials Scheduler to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling raw materials, finished goods, and packaging. Working closely with The Sales Office team and other internal and external customers, you will ensure that all delivery requirements are met and stock budgets are adhered to.
To excel in this role, you'll need excellent organisational and analytical skills. Good engineering/manufacturing production knowledge is also essential. Previous negotiating and supplier management experience would be an advantage. Additionally, the ability to prioritise tasks, work to deadlines, and collaborate effectively as part of a small team is crucial. Strong IT skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with The Sales Office team, as well as other internal and external customers.Schedule raw materials, finished goods, and packaging.Ensure alignment with agreed stock budgets and delivery requirements.Coordinate with suppliers and resolve any active complaints.Support new product introductions and associated stock management.Provide product availability information to the Customer Services Team.Train across all roles and provide support when necessary.Assist with stock valuation, delivery performance, and month-end reporting.Source suppliers for one-off requirements.
