2023 is almost upon us, so here is what new openings, big events and more we have to look forward to in Macclesfield.

Barracks Mill Completion

The final trio of Barracks Mill stores will open in 2023.

KFC, Aldi and M&S Simply Food opened between October and December in 2022.

And now the other stores at the new Retail Park off The Silk Road are about to open.

B&M are yet to confirm whether they will shut their Exchange Square store, as fresh signage comes up at their Barracks Mill premises.

The Gym and bp pulse were the last businesses to be announced, so expect them to be the final two to open as well.

No exact opening dates are confirmed as of yet.

New Picturedrome Vendors

There's big changes at The Picturedrome on Chestergate.

The Macclesfield food call of independent food and drink vendors has two vacant units.

This is after Savages Mussels and Terroni Macclesfield left The Picturedrome after a three-year stint.

The converted cinema turned food venue has kept quiet on who will be replacing two food vendors, however, one would think you won't have to wait long into the year to learn their identity.

Current cuisines catered for include Honest Crust Pizza, Mediterranean with Rubens and Great British meat with Tender Cow.
