Our Client is searching for a Office Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of your workplace. This role combines administrative, financial, and customer service responsibilities.
Detailed Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management:
- Process and manage invoices for both accounts payable and receivable
- Collaborate with our accountant to prepare and submit VAT returns
- Maintain accurate financial records using Sage Construction Manager
- Assist in budget preparation and financial reporting as needed
2. Customer Service:
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls
- Handle inquiries professionally and direct calls to appropriate departments
- Manage general company email inbox
3. Office Administration:
- Oversee office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
- Organize and maintain file systems, both digital and physical
Qualifications and Skills;
- CIS Required & Construction experience
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Sage Construction Manager (required)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
Work Schedule and Location:
- Part-time position, 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday however full time available Pro Rata
- Flexible start times available: 9:00-17:00, 8:00-16:00, or 7:30-15:30
- Initially, this role will be fully office-based
- After a probationary period, we will consider allowing one day per week of remote work, based on performance and business needs
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary - 25,000
