Equitas Staffing are proud to present (on behalf of a Secondary School) a position for an Academic System Manager.

Overview: Equitas Staffing is seeking a full-time Academic and Database Systems Manager to start in November/December. The role involves managing the school's MIS (Management Information System) and data solutions, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of academic data. You will support data systems, train staff, and assist with developing integration solutions.

Responsibilities: - Manage database systems, ensuring consistency and security of data. - Produce exam data and baseline test results as required. - Assist in maintaining MIS and generating staff/student timetables. - Handle reports and manage assessment, tracking, and reporting processes. - Develop and maintain student/parent portals. - Lead the integration of new ICT platforms and support website functionality. - Provide staff training on the MIS system and create user guides. - Liaise with the MIS provider and keep systems up-to-date. - Administer testing and routine data processes like annual returns.

Qualifications: - Educated to A Level, a degree in a related subject is desirable. - Experience in data input, processing, and analysis. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access. - Familiarity with iSAMS is beneficial. - Strong communication skills and team-oriented.

Salary & Conditions: - Salary: 35,000 (based on experience). - Full-time, year-round role (with the potential for flexible summer hours). - Working hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour unpaid lunch. - 18 days holiday, plus additional days over Christmas and Bank Holidays. - Pension scheme with life assurance.
