Were you the Butcher? The Baker? The Candlestickmaker?

Do you have the capacity to impart your worldly advice on the world of work and future life skills?

There are many reasons to volunteer here at Macclesfield College. You could be the role model who changes a young person's life, just by showing interest and striking up a conversation with our students.

Perhaps you feel you would like to contribute to the community and engage with staff and students alike being a presence around the college? The biggest thing you can give is your time, the college are seeking engagement from volunteers for as many hours as you can spare during our opening days from Monday to Thursday and for as many days you would like to commit to during term time.

Just by being present, you can help shape and engage the future of our talented students.

Some ideas of supporting as part our Community Collective Volunteers:

• Chatting with students on campus during lunch breaks

• Welcome Hosts

• Gardening

• Sharing your knowledge / life skills in a classroom setting

• Helping out with enrichment activities

You may have a skill to share and teach? Such as chess, sign language, arts and drawing, sports, tech, artificial intelligence.

Volunteers are required to help expand the MACC Community Collective!

If you're interested in having an informal chat in the first instance about YOUR AMAZING SKILLS and how you can become part of the "MACC COMMUNITY COLLECTIVE", please contact us on 01625 410000 or alternatively email [email protected].
