We are looking for a bookkeeper to support us with providing accurate and up to date financial information for our charity. Responsibilities include entering financial transactions into our financial software, Xero; setting up and maintaining customer and supplier accounts; reconciling bank account balances; and producing regular reports to the Centre Manager in a timely manner.
We are looking for someone who has at least two years' bookkeeping work experience and a good knowledge of accounting and VAT. They would need to have excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and accounting software, preferably Xero. Being AAT qualified would be a distinct advantage.
The role could be worked either at the Bridgend Centre, or from home. A hybrid approach would also work well. It could either be on an employed or freelance basis, we are open to discussions.
