Domiciliary Care Coordinator - £27k - MacclesfieldJob Title: Domiciliary Care Coordinator/SchedulerLocation: MacclesfieldSalary: £27kAbout the Role:We are seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and proactive Domiciliary Care Coordinator/Scheduler to join our team. This role is essential to the effective and efficient delivery of home care services, ensuring that clients receive the support they need, when they need it. As a Care Coordinator/Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing care schedules, coordinating with care staff, and liaising with clients and their families to ensure high-quality care provision in the home.Key Responsibilities:• Care Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule care visits for clients, ensuring that all appointments are made in a timely and efficient manner, considering client needs and staff availability.• Staff Coordination: Maintain communication with care staff to confirm their availability, ensure correct shift allocation, and provide necessary updates related to client care needs or changes.• Client Liaison: Communicate with clients and their families to gather and confirm care requirements, resolve any issues, and ensure that all client expectations are met.• Record Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of care schedules, client preferences, and other relevant information, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.Skills & Qualifications:• Previous experience in a domiciliary care setting or a similar scheduling/coordinator role is essential• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and staff.• Ability to prioritize and remain calm under pressure, especially when dealing with urgent requests or last-minute changes.• Proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience with care management software is a plus.• A compassionate, empathetic, and client-focused approach to care.• Knowledge of relevant care regulations, policies, and procedures is beneficial.• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.• A flexible and adaptable attitude to meet the dynamic needs of clients and the care team.Desirable Qualifications:• A background in healthcare, social care, or a related field.• A qualification in care management or similar (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care).• First Aid and/or Health & Safety certifications.Why Join Us:• Supportive Environment: Join a dedicated and passionate team, committed to delivering high-quality care.• Training & Development: Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and career progression.• Impactful Role: Your work will have a direct impact on the lives of those in need of care, ensuring they receive the support they deserve.If you are a motivated individual with a passion for providing high-quality care and have the skills and experience required, we would love to hear from you.
