Role Overview
As a Community Engagement Officer, you will play a crucial role in building strong relationships with local communities, partners, and stakeholders to promote our care services. You will work collaboratively to raise awareness, drive engagement, and create opportunities for community involvement that support our mission of delivering exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Outreach: Develop and maintain relationships with community groups, charities, and other local organizations.
- Event Coordination: Organize and participate in community events, open days, and awareness campaigns to promote our services.
- Awareness and Advocacy: Raise awareness of our services through workshops, presentations, and engagement activities.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams to align community engagement activities with business objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
- Feedback Collection: Act as a liaison between the community and the organization, gathering feedback to inform service improvement.
- Reporting: Track and report on community engagement activities, measuring their impact and success.

Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Proven experience in community engagement, outreach, or a related field, preferably within the care sector although full training is given
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to plan and manage multiple events and initiatives effectively.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills with a collaborative and empathetic approach.
- Knowledge: Understanding of health and social care services is desirable.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel locally and occasionally work outside regular hours for community events.
