Position: Registered Care Manager

Location: East Cheshire, Macclesfield

Salary: 40,000 per annum

Employment Type: Permanent

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Care Manager to join our well-established domiciliary care provider in East Cheshire, Macclesfield. As the Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our care services and ensuring the highest level of care is provided to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the care services, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the care services
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of care staff, providing support and guidance as needed
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews of clients' care plans to ensure their needs are being met
  • Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and maintaining financial stability
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of care provided, identifying areas for development and implementing necessary changes
  • Requirements:

  • Registered Manager's Award or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a management role within the care sector
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation, including CQC standards
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
  • Proficient in IT and record keeping
  • Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
