It looks like a dormant corner of town will be active again, as a landlord has took back control of two premises.

A forfeiture notice has appeared outside The Merchant Exchange in Macclesfield.

This confirms the cessation of trading for Pizza Hut and the Aroma Sandwich Bar, despite the latter business being up for sale earlier this year.

The bailiffs have put notices up at the two ground floor commercial properties on Waters Green.

They went in on November 30, meaning now the landlord has took back control from tenants.

So we could see new businesses open up in these sites in 2024.
