Prestbury Choral Society is recruiting new members, and rehearsals begin on Wednesday 13th September if you'd like to come along. We meet from 7.30-9.30pm every Wednesday during term time at the Methodist Church on Macclesfield Road, Prestbury. We perform three concerts per year, and last year we did the Rutter and Faure Requiems and an amazing Coronation concert including Zadok the Priest and Haydn Little Organ Mass. The next concert is on December 6th at St Peter's Church, Prestbury, and will include some Bach, Vaughan Williams and carols for choir and audience. We've been going for 60 years! We're a very sociable group of around 40 members currently, so do come along and give it a try. As winter sets in, singing is sure to lift your spirits!
