Macclesfield Singers & Symphony Orchestra present a concert of Bruckner Mass No. 1 in D Minor together with Fauré Requiem. The Bruckner Mass is less well known than the popular Haydn and Mozart Masses but is nevertheless quite dramatic with a mixture of sonorous, heavy and sinister passages to it, being menacing at times. It is partnered with the beautiful and moving Fauré Requiem
