And before we tell you all about it, don't forget you can list your event to our readers for FREE on the Macclesfield Nub News What's On section.

The Church Lane concert, ran by promoters Langley Gigs, will take place on Saturday September 11.

It guarantees to be the best folk, roots, and Americana gig of the year for our area.

The Macc gig will be headlined by Knutsford band Fine Lines.

The band, who will release their third album later this year, have released two singles in 2021. Del Rio, which can be listened to on the video above, and King of Three Streets.

They'll bring their critically acclaimed two albums plus new material.

Twin vocals of David Boardman and Zoe Blythe lead the seven-piece, which echo the sessions of Bob Dylan and the Band.

Their sound is perfectly complimented by the fine playing of musicians Gary O'Brien (piano and Hammond organ), Emily Doggett (fiddle), Chris Lee (pedal steel), Jim Broughton (bass).

BBC radio & TV presenter Mark Radcliffe also provides an excellent accompaniment on drums.

Comparisons have also been drawn to Mercury-era Rod Stewart and Bruce Springsteen, whilst maintaining a unique quality that is singularly their own.

"Back by popular demand, fresh from the British Country Music Festival, Fine Lines are live at the Sutton Scout & Guide HQ," said the band.

"Playing tracks from their forthcoming album Deadbeat Lullabies amongst some old favourites.

"Fine Lines will be accompanied by George Borowski, Hammill, Mora & Moylan this is a night not to be missed!"

Doors for the gig near Macclesfield are open from 7pm til 11pm.

Tickets are £14 + booking fee, and are available from this webpage.

This Macclesfield show is an indoor event but tickets are limited to reduce capacity in order to make everyone feel safer, so be quick on scooping up the last tickets.

You can listen to Fine Lines on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.

You can follow the band, who celebrate their fifth anniversary this year, Facebook.

They also have a Twitter and Instagram.

It will be their only Macclesfield performance of the year.
