Cheshire Constabulary is warning residents to be vigilant following a significant increase in fraud offences.

Fire crews had to rescue three people who got stuck in the mud at Bosley reservoir yesterday evening (31 May).

Four fire engines went to the scene of the incident which is recorded to have happened at 5:23pm on Sunday.

A fire crew were called to put out a "small fire" in Macclesfield Forest today, just off Trentbank Road.

Firefighters were made aware of the incident at around 7am this morning and one fire engine attended the scene to put out the fire with water.
