A 34-year-old man from Macclesfield has been charged following a burglary at a former pub in the town.
Christopher Wilkins, of Warwick Road, was arrested in Earlsway at around 1.15am on Tuesday 28 April.

Macclesfield has been the first town in the borough to host a military run mobile coronavirus testing unit in an effort to increase provision.

Harry Newton, (82), who lives in the Broken Cross area of Macclesfield, completed the effort on Sunday (26th April) by circling his house 461 times and has so far raised over £5,000 (gift aid included) for NHS Charities Together.

Cheshire East Council has highlighted the government criteria for business grants as it continues to distribute vital funds to eligible businesses in Macclesfield and the borough.
