Tytherington High School has applied for planning for permission to install six "emergency" temporary classrooms to meet the additional demand expected in September.

Manny Botwe, the headteacher of the Manchester Road based school said the school was "significantly oversubscribed" and the additional classrooms were needed to accommodate the pupils.
